Magic Flying Carpet Illusion -
Excellent
Condition RRP £455
As New
How
it's performed:
"A small platform on casters is rolled to any spot on the floor desired.
Resting on the platform is a beautifully decorated two-fold screen. It
supports a platform with gold fringe representing a carpet. A child from
the audience sits on the carpet, and the magician asks them to sit still
and cross their legs. The screen is then removed along with the
swords which leaves the carpet suspended in mid-air! The magician then
causes the carpet to spin around with the child on it! A hoop can even
be passed around it to show that there are no wires. This is quite an
amazing piece of kid’s magic!
Excellent condition as New and it a wonderful piece of magic to finish a
show. The children can't believe their eyes as the carpet appears to be
flying with a child on it!!!
This is not a
heavy item and can be picked up and moved around easily.
Collection
only from Hertfordshire.

HOLD THAT TIGER
Original version
still
in Excellent condition works like a dream
Made by
Harry Stanley /Billy Day
EFFECT:
Magician introduces two Circus
Clowns called “SPOTTY" and “STRIPEY” because
of their very distinctive Dress! Pointing to a very attractive house he
says “and they live at number SIX Paradise Street”. The kiddies yell
...“No, it’s number Nine!” “Sorry,” says the magician, and he cleverly
causes the number to change!
Again he states the number of the house, but the kiddies shout their
disagreement and once again the number changes! This really FUNNY
“BUSINESS” is repeated ... the kiddies shouting more and more! Further
Comedy is now obtained by the magician apparently forgetting “which is
which” and the children yell their “correction”. Finally, it all gets
sorted out to the children's satisfaction and delight.
On getting it settled, magician sends “STRIPEY” off to the Circus. “
SPOTTY” stays at home because he’s scared of the Circus Tiger. “Now says
the magician, “I’m going to show you a wonderful trick. I'm going to
make the Clowns change places!” He tells the children the magic word
that will “cast a spell” and gets them to call it out ALOUD. They do so
... and magi says, “That’s wonderful ... I bet you have done the trick
for me.” He goes to the “Circus” and exclaims; “Yes, the trick is
working beautifully,” and shows that “SPOTTY” is now at the Circus. He
goes over to the house, confidently opens the door saying “And here is
STRIPY.”
The Kiddies yell, “ No it isn’t!” Magician now sees that instead of the
expected “Stripey” ... there is a fearsome looking Tiger! “The magic
isn’t working ... something's gone wrong. Where’s Stripy?” he asks
plaintively.
To his surprise the kiddies tell him “ LOOK IN THE CIRCUS !“ they shout.
And they are right too! (How did they know. Ah! that's telling!) All
ends happily, for going to the “Circus” he removes the TWO loveable
Clowns . . SPOTTY and STRIPY

The Five Star
Packets.
Great
Informative manuscript from supreme magic.
Effect 1
A card is
selected and retained by a spectator until the conclusion. To the
accompaniment of a following line of patter, The Magician folds up a
pice of paper and cuts two snips only. Unfolding the same it is seen
that he has thus correctly disclosed the chosen card, as the cut-out
paper represents the chosen pip card held by the spectator
Effect 2:
Comedy Neck ties Routine: a very clever routine for comedy performers.
Effect 3:
Squeeze Coin Routine - You Borrow a small plate and a half dollar or
similar size coin. Both Hands are shown DEFINITELY empty and you then
start bouncing the coin on the plate in an effort to crack the plate.
Not succeeding, you pick up the coin, squeeze it and pour out onto the
plate instead...a quarter, two dimes and a nickel; these are all
returned to the donor in exchange for his half dollar. Fast Surprising
and goes over very well any were...
Effect 4:
Fly to – Card : A freely selected card is vanished from a borrowed
deck and found at a pre- determined page in an unprepared book chosen by
the audience and held by a spectator. No Difficult Slights and may be
performed impromptu.
Very Surprising
and Effective.
Effect
5: Improved Ropes thru
Neck: Two ropes are passed around the neck and tied in front then
apparently, pulled right through the neck and immediately handed out for
examination with loops and the knots intact
The
improved neck through ropes Section is worth the price alone in my
opinion
