You display a Solid round wooden bar (9” 0r 20cm aprox) and tied through three holes in the bar are three pieces of rope. Tied on one of the end pieces of rope is a colourful plastic ring. You state that you will make the ring untie itself from the end rope, jump magically through the air, and re-tie itself to the rope on the other end of the bar. Suddenly you pass the bar behind your back and sure enough the ring has "jumped" to the other end! The audience groans with laughter because it is very apparent to them that you have just turned the bar around when you moved it behind your back. The magician takes "two" decks from his pocket
and sets them on the table - one deck is real and one deck is
invisible. A spectator is asked by the magician to pick any card
from the imaginary invisible deck giving them a completely free

Crystal
Thought Condenser
A spectator selects a card from an ordinary deck. The performer
displays a small solid crystal cube, which he explains will condense
and focus thought rays, just like a lens focuses light rays.
The cube is held between finger and thumb, right under the spectator's nose, and being completely transparent, the spectators can see there is nothing in the cube. The spectator is asked to concentrate intently on the selected card as the performer moves the cube forward and backward, twisting it to bring it in focus. Suddenly an image of the selected card appears in the centre of the cube, and it can be clearly seen by the spectator. Then, just as suddenly it vanishes, and you can then toss the cube out for examination. You could also make the image of a selected number, word, or design appear in the cube. £4.00
